Women's Basketball does not receive bid to NCAA III Tournament, will end season with 20-7 record

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team was left out of the 2020 NCAA Division III Tournament and will end its season with a 20-7 record.
The Polar Bears finished third in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 13-5 record and reached the semifinals of the OAC Tournament.
Michele Durand will step down from her head coaching duties after 19 seasons at the helm with a career-record of 333-183, a winning percentage of .645.
She guided the Polar Bears to five OAC Regular Season titles, two OAC Tournament crowns and five NCAA III Tournament appearances.
She ends her career as the winningest basketball coach in school history.
Mark Huelsman will take over as head coach after sevens as as assistant coach at ONU.
