Ohio Northern men finish 3rd, four individuals earn All-Conference honors at OAC Championships meet

FINDLAY — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team finished 3rd out of 10 teams at the OAC Championships on Saturday afternoon.
The Basics
- Record: Ohio Northern (99-34 Overall).
- Race Info: The event was an 8,000-meter race held at the Hillcrest Golf Club.

- The Polar Bears finished 3rd out of 10 scoring teams.
- No. 18-ranked John Carroll won the team title with 26 points, Mount Union placed 2nd with 61 points, Ohio Northern finished 3rd with 77 points and Otterbein finished fourth with 85 points.

- Senior Trey Masterson (Tiffin/Hopewell-Loudon) led the Polar Bears across the finish line in 25:04, finishing 10th out of 176 runners to earn First Team All-Conference honors.
- Senior Ryan Massie (Beavercreek) was 11th in 25:09 earning him Second Team All-Conference kudos.
- Junior Jacob Clouse (Alvada) was 14th in 25:23 earning him Second Team All-Conference.
- Senior Keefer McClure (Ottawa Hills) finished 20th in 25:40 to earn Second Team All-Conference honors.
- Fifth-year Senior Jared Swartz (Columbia Station) finished 22nd in 25:42.

- Ohio Northern had 4 runners earn All-Conference Honors.
- Masterson, Massie and Clouse also earned All-Conference honors in 2023.
- In all, 31 of Ohio Northern's 39 runners had season-best times.
