Men's Cross Country finishes 13th of 46 teams at NCAA Division III Pre-National Meet under the lights

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team finished 13th out of 42 teams at the NCAA Division III Pre-National meet under the lights on Friday night.

- Senior Trey Masterson (Tiffin/Hopewell-Loudon) led the Polar Bears across the finish line in 25:58 to finish 84th out of 405 runners.
- Fifth-year senior Ian Ackenhausen (Xenia/Legacy Christian Academy) was 86th in 25:59.
- Senior Ryan Massie (Beavercreek) was 87th in 26:00.
- Fifth-year Senior Jared Swartz (Columbia Station) was 90th in 26:01.
- Junior Jacob Clouse (Alvada/New Riegel) finished 113th in 26:14.

- The contest started at 9:45 pm EDT and was held with the help of more than 50 temporary lighting standards illuminating the course., which will be the site of the NCAA III Championships.
- There were 8 ranked teams that ran at the meet.
- 16th-year head coach Jason Maus is now 1547-409 as head coach of the ONU men's cross country program and is the winningest coach in program history.
