Massie, a computer engineering major, finished 20th overall at the regional meet in 24:30, earning All-Region honors.
His career-best time of 24:25 makes him the third-fastest runner in ONU history for 8,000 meters. Massie also earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference accolades.
Masterson, an engineering major, was second among Polar Bear runners at the regional meet, placing 25th overall in a career-low 24:36.

His career-low time of 24:41 is the sixth-best in school history.
All four student-athletes were Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selections for 2023.
This marks the second USTFCCCA All-Academic honor for Massie, who also earned the recognition in 2022.
The Polar Bears closed the season with a sixth-place finish of 40 teams at the regional meet, finishing with an overall record of 97-16 under 15th-year head coach Jason Maus.
