ONU Race Notes: The No. 17th-ranked Ohio Northern men's cross country team will compete in the Calvin (Mich.) Knight Invitational on Saturday morning ... The women's race will take place at 10 am with the men's race to follow at approximately 10:45 am ... The Polar Bears enter the meet with a perfect 7-0 record after opening the season with a victory at the annual Bluffton 6k Invitational ... Junior Ian McVey led the way for Northern as he finished second overall, and first among Div. III competitors ... Northern had two other top-10 finishers as senior Bobby Borger was eighth in 19:09 and senior Sam Boyd was ninth in 19:16 ... Junior Spencer Schulze finished 13th for Northern, while sophomore Riley Lamison finished 24th and freshman Jordan Green took 25th place for ONU ... McVey garnered the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor for his performance during the meet.
