Head Coach Jason Maus named the All-Ohio Division III Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year

ADA — Ohio Northern head coach Jason Maus was named the All-Ohio Division III Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year released Monday.

Maus guided the No. 31 ranked Polar Bears to a 137-9 season and collected the programs fourth Ohio Athletic Conference Championship dating back to the 2004 season.

The men were ranked as high as 19th this season in the USTFCCCA Division III Poll and claimed a first place finish at the All-Ohio Championships.

He also guided the Polar Bears to a fourth place finish at the 36 team NCAA III Regionals.

"I am honored and proud to receive this award but awards like this don't happen with out a great team and a great support staff," said head coach Jason Maus. "I need to thank both the team and my assistants."

Maus earns his first All-Ohio Cross Country Coach of the Year honor.
