HANOVER, Ind. -- Ohio Northern junior Nathan Rosenbaum finished 152nd out of 280 runners at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships Saturday afternoon at the L.S. Ayres Complex at Hanover (Ind.) College.
Rosenbaum finished the 8,000-meter course in 26:14.
"He ran a solid race," ONU head coach Jason Maus said. "He got caught up in traffic in the first half of the race, but once the field got strung out a bit, he competed very well. This was a good race for his first time at the Championships."
"I got caught in the bell curve early and it took me too long to get out into the open," Rosenbaum said. "I'm happy with my run. Not great, but not awful, either. Once I was able to get out and race, I think I did pretty well."
This marks the eighth consecutive season that Ohio Northern had was represented at the NCAA Championships in either the men's or women's race.
The Polar Bears finished with a 102-17 record overall, were second at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships and were sixth at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional this season.
