Bio

Hannah Thompson is entering her first year coaching at Ohio Northern as a part-time assistant coach and is working with the men's and women's cross country and track and field distance runners.

She comes to ONU after a standout collegiate career at Malone University, where she was a five-time NCAA Division II national qualifier and a two-time All-American in indoor track and field and cross country. She set school records in the indoor 5K (16:43), 10K (34:36) and 3K steeplechase (10:32).

Thompson, a native of Canton and a graduate of GlenOak High School, received her bachelor's degree in exercise science with a minor in coaching from Malone in 2019 and went on to earn her master's degree in business administration in 2021.
