Bio

Will Buelsing is in his third year as an assistant track and field coach at Ohio Northern in 2024 and works directly with the jumps — high jump, pole vault, long jump and triple jump.

In his first season at ONU in 2022, he coached two student-athletes to Ohio Athletic Conference championships as part of eight All-Conference finishes in addition to three All-Great Lakes Region honors in jumping events. He also coached three national qualifiers, as Anna Schatzle qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the indoor and outdoor pole vault, and Andrew Buderer qualified in the outdoor pole vault.

In 2023, Buelsing coached Lindsay Weininger to an OAC championship in the high jump, and his student-athletes also earned three USTFCCCA All-Region and five All-OAC honors.

Prior to joining the staff at ONU, Buelsing spent two years at Mount Saint Joseph University, where he was the jumps and multi-events coach. He has also worked with Colerain High School and a pole vault club in Cincinnati.

A varsity letter winner, Buelsing competed in the indoor heptathlon and outdoor decathlon and participated in various relays while attending the University of Indianapolis.

He graduated cum laude from UI in 2017 with degrees in Spanish and environmental science and a concentration in multilingual translation and conversation.
