Jordan Dean wins 200 and 400, leads Men's Indoor Track and Field to victory at 15-team at Muskingum Muskie Meet #2

NEW CONCORD — Senior Jordan Dean (Cleveland/Villa Angela-Saint Joseph) won the 200 and 400-meter dashes to lead the men's indoor track and field team to a victory at the 15-team Muskingum Muskie Meet #2 on Saturday.

- Ohio Northern was first of 15 teams with 199 points.
- Seton Hill (Pa.) was second with 86 points, Otterbein was third with 82 points and Pitt-Johnstown was fourth with 69.5 points.

- Dean won the 200 in :22.20 and won the 400 in :48.92.
- Sophomore C.J. Boothby (Milford/Clermont Northeastern) won the 60 dash in :06.91 and was second in the long jump at 6.75 meters.
- Freshman Chris Bond (Franklin) and senior Trent Babcock (Painesville/Riverside) finished 1-2 in the 5,000 in 15:42.62 and 15:47.42, respectively.
- Senior Ryan Massie (Beavercreek) was second in the 3,000 in 8:39.19.
- Sophomore Vova Herdman (Seville/Cloverleaf) was second in the 800 in 2:00.12.
- Freshman Nathan Ogilbee (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) was second in the 1000 in 2:50.03.
- Junior Zach O'Neill (Holland/Maumee Valley Country Day), freshman Roman Medley (Piqua), freshman Luke Lazarich (Celina) and sophomore Carter Byers (Lewis Center/Olentangy Orange) won the 4x400 relay in 3:30.02.

- The meet consisted of 19 events, including six field events, 11 running events and two relays.
- The meet consisted of 15 teams from NCAA Division II and III and NAIA.
- Massie's time in the 3,000 moves him into 6th place all-time at ONU in the event.
- Head Coach Jason Maus is in his 16th year at Ohio Northern and is 677-160 in men's indoor track and field for a winning percentage of .809.
