ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Keegan Digby (Bowling Green/Otsego) and senior Andrew Buderer (Oak Harbor) have qualified for the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.
Digby and Buderer qualified in the shot put and pole vault, respectively, and will compete in the national meet May 26-28 in Geneva, Ohio.
The top 20 individuals in each event earn qualification into the NCAA Championships meet.
Digby set a new school record with his throw of 16.34 meters in the shot put at the Mike Becraft Invitational on April 23. That mark ranks 10th nationally.
Digby is the 2022 Ohio Athletic Conference champion in both the indoor and outdoor shot put.
Buderer qualified for the national meet with a mark of 4.86 meters in the pole vault at Thursday's Mount Union Last Chance meet. That height ranks 17th nationally and third all-time at ONU.
The 2021 OAC champion in the outdoor pole vault, Buderer placed second in the event at the 2022 Outdoor OACs.
