Three Polar Bears improve times at Baldwin Wallace's Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet

BEREA — Three Ohio Northern student/athletes improved on their season-best times at the Baldwin Wallace Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet on Friday night at Finnie Stadium.
Seniors Sam Krabacher (Hamilton/Badin) and Colin McCullough (Galion) and junior Caden Sauerbrey (Dresden/Tri-Valley) all bettered their previous season-best times.
Krabacher ran a 1:54.94 in the 800-meter run, McCullough ran a :55.21 in the 400 hurdles and and Sauerbrey ran a 15:25.23 in the 5000.
The top 17 athletes in each event will qualify for the NCAA III Championships at Greensboro, N.C. May 27-29.
Junior Nate Dean (Euclid/Villa Angela-Saint Joseph) is currently ranked 17th in the 200 with a time of :21.63. He ran a :21.71 on Friday night.
Junior Andrew Buderer (Oak Harbor) is 18th in the pole vault with a height of 4.79 meters. He cleared 4.52 meters on Friday.

In all, 14 Ohio Northern athletes competed in the non-scoring meet.
The Polar Bears will get one more shot to get into the championships when they compete at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet on Wednesday.
