Roseler wins 300-meter dash to lead Men's Track & Field at Northwest Ohio Meet

FINDLAY -- Junior Jonathan Roseler captured the 300-meter dash to lead the Ohio Northern men's track & field team at the season opening Northwest Ohio Meet on Friday evening at the University of Findlay.
The meet was unscored.
Roseler crossed the finish line in 36.33 seconds to win his event.
Senior Josh Colbert came in second in the 60-meter dash in 7.02 seconds.
Sophomore Jojuan Fisher came in fourth in 7.08 seconds and sophomore Christian Rupe finished sixth in 7.15 seconds.
Rupe also came in sixth in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 23.25 seconds.
Freshman Ian McKee came in fourth in the 800-meter run in 2:00.97 and junior Nate Rosenbaum also finished fourth in the 3,000-meter run in 8:56.27.
Junior Ryan Brancheau finished tied for fourth place in the high jump, clearing 1.88 meters (6-02.00).
The 4x400-meter relay team of senior Evan McKee, junior Kyle Wagner, Ian McKee and Rupe came in fifth place in 3:32.21.
Freshman William Reckert notched a sixth place finish in the 400-meter dash in 52.50 seconds.
Ohio Northern will return to action on January 25, when it takes part in the Defiance College Invitational.
