Schwab places in four events to lead Men's Track & Field at W&L/VMI Carnival
LEXINGTON, Va. — The Ohio Northern men's track & field team competed at the Washington and Lee Track and Field Carnival in Lexington, Va. on March 26 and 27.
This was not a team scored event but the Polar Bears were able to bring home many solid individual efforts at the meet.
Sophomore Jacob Schwab led Northern by placing in the top eight in four separate events on the day. He contributed in two relays that placed first and second and also finished third and eighth in the 400- and 100-meter dashes.
Ohio Northern's greatest success on the day came when senior Joe Amstutz, juniors Ryan Fleming and Evan Heyman, and Schwab won the 4X100-meter relay with a time of 42.02 seconds.
