Men's Tennis to face Grinnell (Iowa) in First Round of NCAA III Tournament at Whitewater, Wis.

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team will travel to Whitewater, Wis., and will face Grinnell (Iowa) in the first round of the NCAA III Tournament.

Northern (19-5 overall) will face the Pioneers (24-3) on Friday at 2 p.m. at Warhawk Tennis Complex.

The ONU-GC winner will advance to the second round to face tournament host and No. 7-ranked Denison on Saturday.

The third round will be held at Whitewater on Sunday.

The Polar Bears are making their third consecutive and eighth NCAA Tournament appearance in program history overall.

Ohio Northern earned the Ohio Athletic Conference's automatic bid by winning the OAC Tournament title with a 5-2 victory over John Carroll on Saturday.

The Polar Bears were also OAC Regular Season champions with a 6-0 record.

ONU has now won 13 OAC Tournament titles and 13 OAC Regular Season crowns.
