Men's Tennis bows out of OAC Tournament with 5-0 semifinal loss to Otterbein

MASON — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team bowed out of the 2021 Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament with a 5-0 semifinal loss to Otterbein on Friday afternoon at the Lindner Tennis Center.
The third-seeded Polar Bears end their season with a 5-3 record, while the second-seeded Cardinals improve to 6-1 and will face top-seeded John Carroll in the finals on Saturday morning.
OU swept the three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead, then won at Nos. 4 and 5 singles to wrap the match up.
Junior Zach Beaschler (Ada) was leading his match at No. 3 singles 6-1, 4-1 and freshman Isaac Spar (Ada) was winning 6-1, 2-1 at No. 6 singles when the match concluded.
