Sophomore David Hayman leads Men's Tennis at ITA Regional Championships

ADA -- The Ohio Northern men's tennis team competed at the ITA Regional Championships this weekend in Kalamazoo (Mich.)
The Polar Bears were led by sophomore David Hayman (Westerville/Westerville South) as he fell in a competitive match, 6-4, 6-2 to open the tournament.
Hayman would 7-6 (11), 6-4 victory in the second round of the tournament for ONU.
Freshman Spencer Clark (Westerville/Westerville South) also competed for the Polar Bears, and bowed out after the first round.
In doubles play, the team of freshman Andrew Garcia (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove South) and sophomore Tim Kargl (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove South) dropped an 8-1 decision for ONU.
The Polar Bears wrapped up the fall portion of the schedule and will return to action in the spring as they compete at Wittenberg on March 23.
