Two named Academic All-OAC in Men's Tennis for 2016

ADA — Two Ohio Northern student/athletes were named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in men's tennis for 2016.
Senior John Mostowy and sophomore Nathan Knodel received the honors.
Award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50.
Mostowy the Mason, Ohio native earns his third Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honor.
He led the Polar Bears last season with an 8-8 singles record, a 10-9 doubles mark and 18-17 overall record.
He finishes his career with a 53-24 singles record, a 104-44 doubles mark and an overall record of 112-52.
Knodel earns his first Academic All-OAC honor.
The mechanical engineering major finished the season 3-13 in singles play and 1-7 in doubles action, moving his career record to 4-20 overall.
The Polar Bears finished the season 6-13 overall and finished sixth in the OAC with a league record of 3-5 under ninth-year head coach Bob Rohan.
