Men's Tennis extends win streak to eight with 9-0 win at Heidelberg

TIFFIN -- The Ohio Northern men's tennis team extended its winning streak to eight straight matches with a 9-0 win at Heidelberg on Friday.
The Polar Bears are now 10-4 overall and a perfect 4-0 in OAC play. The Student Princes fall to 4-8, 0-2.
In doubles play, the duo of sophomore Sam Prewitt and junior Blake Troller scored an 8-0 victory at No. 3 doubles.
Senior Joey Frank and junior Do Thai won 8-3 at No. 1 doubles and freshman John Mostowy and junior Josh Saunders won 8-6 at No. 2 doubles.
In singles play, Troller cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles, while senior Mike King won at No. 6 singles 6-1, 6-0.
Thai won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, Saunders won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles and Mostowy won 6-4, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
Frank finished off the sweep with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles.
Ohio Northern will play again on Saturday, when it hosts Mount Union at 1 pm.
