Men's tennis posts first victory of the season with 9-0 shutout of Wartburg (Iowa)

ORLANDO (Fla.) -- The Ohio Northern men's tennis team picked up its first victory by a 9-0 score over Wartburg (Iowa) on Tuesday evening.
The Polar Bears now stand at 1-3 on the season, while the Knights fall to 4-3.
ONU picked up doubles wins on all three courts.
Senior Joey Frank and junior Blake Troller scored an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles.
Juniors Josh Saunders and Do Thai won 9-7 at No. 2 doubles and sophomore Sam Prewitt and freshman John Mostowy won 8-5 at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Frank won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and Saunders won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 singles.
At No. 3 singles, Thai won 6-2, 6-2, Troller won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles and Mostowy won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
Senior Mike King finished off the shutout with a 0-6, 6-3, 10-4 win at No. 6 singles.
Ohio Northern will return to action on Wednesday when they face off against Wabash (Ind.) at 12:30 pm.
