Men's Tennis drops 6-3 decision to Hope (Mich.) in final match of Kalamazoo/Hope Shootout

HOLLAND (Mich.) -- The Ohio Northern men's team dropped a 6-3 decision to Hope (Mich.) on Saturday afternoon at the DeWitt Tennis Center.
The Polar Bears fall to 0-3 on the season, while the Flying Dutch improve to 1-1.
Freshman John Mostowy won twice to pace ONU.
Mostowy teamed with freshman J.T. Rapaport to win 8-4 at No. 3 doubles.
He then erased a 6-2 deficit in his super tiebreak to win 7-6(4), 4-6, 10-7 at No. 5 singles.
Junior Do Thai also picked up a victory at No. 3 singles by a 2-6, 6-3, 10-3 score.
Ohio Northern will return to action on Tuesday when they open play on its spring trip by facing Wartburg (Iowa) in Orlando, Fla. at 3:30 pm.
