Frank notches 100th career win as Men’s Tennis shuts out Heidelberg

ADA—Junior Joey Frank became the 18th member of the ONU 100 Win Club on Tuesday afternoon as the Ohio Northern men's tennis team posted a 9-0 victory over Heidelberg at the University Courts.
The Polar Bears are now 5-4 overall and 3-0 in OAC play while the Student Princes fall to 9-4, 3-1.
Frank picked up his 100th career win in doubles play. He teamed with senior Michael Kathary to post an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles.
Senior Nick Kowalczyk and sophomore Josh Saunders scored an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles.
Senior Andrew Korba and sophomore Brian Bruin completed the doubles sweep with a 8-3 victory over Dorion Kempf and Matt McDivitt.
Northern kept things rolling in singles.
Korba posted an impressive 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles.
Kowalczyk and junior Mike King won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 and No. 5 singles respectively.
Frank picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win over Bobby Lochotzki.
Kathary scored a 6-0, 6-3 won at No. 2 singles while Saunders capped off the shutout with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 4 singles.
Ohio Northern will be in action again on Thursday when they host OAC foe Wilmington at 4 p.m.
