Men Tennis Tops Alma (Mich.) in Day 2 of Spring Break Trip

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team picked up a 7-2 victory over Alma (Mich.) Tuesday afternoon at Sanlando Park.
The Polar Bears improve to 2-1 overall while the Scots fall to 2-4.
Four Polar Bears picked up two victories on the day, including sophomore Joey Frank won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.
Frank then paired with junior Nick Kowalczyk to pick up an 8-2 victory at No.1 doubles.
Kowalczyk won 6-4, 6-3 over Logan Beard at No. 2 singles.
Freshman Do Thai teamed with junior Michael Kathary to win 8-1 at No. 2 doubles. Thai would then record a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles.
Junior Jeff Carter won at No. 4 singles with a 6-2, 7-5 score.
Carter and junior Andrew Korba were victorious at No. 3 doubles as they defeated Josh Gove and Ben Schippers by an 8-3 margin.
The Polar Bears will be in action again on Wednesday when they face off against Augustana (Ill.)
