Senior Brady Horgan named OAC Men's Swimmer of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Brady Horgan (New Richmond/McNicholas) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for the week of Jan. 20-26.

This is Horgan's first time receiving the honor in his career.

The recognition comes after winning four events in a tight 147-133 loss at Wooster in the last meet of the regular season on Saturday.

Horgan won the 50 free in :21.91 and the 100 free in :48.91. He was also on the 200 medley relay that won in 1:38.03 and the 200 free relay that won in 1:27.05.

Horgan was named All-OAC in the 100 free, 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 200 medley relay last season.

The Polar Bears (5-3 overall, 3-2 OAC) return to action Feb. 12-15 in the OAC Championships.
