Clark, Wilt, McCluskey each win three times as Men's Swimming and Diving sweeps tri-meet at Bluffton with Ohio Wesleyan

LIMA — Juniors Nathan Clark (Cleves/Elder) and Selby Wilt (Findlay) and freshman Chase McCluskey (Pickerington/North) each won three events to lead the Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team in a tri-meet victory over Bluffton and Ohio Wesleyan on Friday night.

Meet Highlights
- Clark swept the sprint free events, winning the 50-yard free in :22.09 and the 100 free in :48.57.
- He also joined McCluskey, senior Brandon Parkins (DuPont, Wash./Steilacoom) and senior Brady Horgan (New Richmond/McNicholas) to win the 200 medley relay in 1:41.90.
- Wilt won the 50 breast in :28.43 and the 50 fly in :23.89.
- He also joined sophomore Nathan Herbert (Medina/Highland), sophomore Riley Verb (Bluffton) and McCluskey to win the 200 free relay in 1:29.62.
- McCluskey also won the 500 free in 5:10.15 to go with the two relay victories.
- Herbert also won the 200 free in 1:48.67.
- Junior Simon Bopple (Cleveland/Shaker Heights) won the 50 back in :25.81.
- Junior Tyler Edmonds (Youngsville, La./Southside) won the 400 I.M. in 4:32.91.
- Sophomore Josh Ray (Howell, Mich./Hartland) won the 100 breast in 1:02.00.
- Freshman Austin Peace (Eaton) won the 100 fly in :56.55.

- The meet consisted of 15 events, including 12 individual races, the 1-meter diving and two relays.
- ONU won 12 of the 15 events on the evening.
- Austin Veltman is 35-19 in his seventh season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
