Men's Swimming & Diving sweeps all 14 events, wins OAC dual at Heidelberg, 218-10

TIFFIN — The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team swept all 14 events and posted a 218-10 Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet victory at Heidelberg on Saturday.

- Junior Simon Bopple (Cleveland/Shaker Heights) won the 50 free in :21.95 and the 500 free in 5:26.81.
- Sophomore Riley Verb (Bluffton) won the 100 breast in 1:02.18 and the 200 back in 2:04.57.
- Freshman Chase McCluskey (Pickerington/North) won the 100 fly in :53.37 and the 200 fly in 2:03.09.
- Freshman Reid Thomas (Clarksville, Md./River Hill) won the 1000 free in 10:44.98.
- Junior Tyler Edmonds (Youngsville, La./Southside) won the 200 free in 1:51.03.
- Senior Aiden Magoolaghan (Hinckley/Highland) won the 100 back in :55.48.
- Junior Selby Wilt (Findlay) won the 100 free in :48.55.
- Junior Nathan Clark (Cleves/Elder) won the 200 breast in 2:18.71.
- Freshman Austin Peace (Eaton) won the 200 I.M. in 2:07.12.
- The 200 medley relay team of Wilt, Peace, sophomore Diego Rios (Chandler, Ariz./Arizona College Prep) and Horgan won in 1:41.12.
- The 200 free relay team of Clark, Magoolaghan, junior Max Etheridge (Ashley/Hayes) and sophomore Evan Miller (Cincinnati/LaSalle) won in 1:31.83.
Notables
- The meet consisted of 14 events, including 12 individual races, two relays and two diving events.
- The top five finishers, of which no more than three can come from one team, scored points.
- Austin Veltman is 33-18 in his seventh season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
