Men's Swimming and Diving drops 153-79 decision at John Carroll

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team fell at John Carroll 153-79 on Saturday afternoon.

Meet Highlights
- Freshman Chase McCluskey (Pickerington/North) won the 200 free in 1:47.07.
- He also had second place finishes in the 100 free (:49.04) and the 500 free (5:03.69).
- Senior Holden Cubberley (Celina) swept the diving competitions unopposed. He scored 259.95 to win the 1-meter and 262.80 to win the 3-meter.
- Junior Selby Wilt (Findlay) was second in the 50 free in :21.79.
Notables
- The meet consisted of 16 events, including 12 individual races, two relays and two diving events.
- Northern won swept the diving events and won one of individual races.
- This was the second of nine regular season meets for Ohio Northern this season.
- Austin Veltman is 32-18 in his seventh season as head coach of the Polar Bears, a winning percentage of .640.
