Cubberley, Wilt named Scholar All-America by College Swimming Coaches Association of America

ADA — Junior Holden Cubberley (Celina) and sophomore and Selby Wilt (Findlay) were named Scholar All-America by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America in 2023-24.
The CSCAA named over 2,000 swimmers and divers to its Scholar All-American Team this season.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
Cubberley is a First Team selection and Wilt was named to the Second Team.
Cubberley is a three-time Ohio Athletic Conference Diver of the Year who has won the conference championship in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions in each of his three seasons at Ohio Northern.
He is also a two-time NCAA III Championships qualifier in both the 1- and 3-meter diving events.
Cubberley has scored 120 OAC Championships in his career and is a two-time Academic All-District and Academic All-OAC honoree.
Wilt is a 7-time All-OAC honoree and has scored 143 OAC Championships points in his career.
He has earned All-OAC accolades in the 50 free, the 100 free (twice), the 200 free relay (twice), the 400 free relay and the 200 medley relay in his career.
Wilt was also named Academic All-District.
The Polar Bears finished 8-4 overall in dual meets this season and placed third at the 2024 OAC Championships.
