Ohio Northern men's and women's swimming and diving teams selected as Scholar All-America teams by the CSCAA

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been selected as Scholar All-America teams for the spring 2024 semester by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.
The CSCAA selected 722 programs from 417 collegiate schools as Scholar All-America teams for the spring 2024 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their spring 2024 team grade point averages.
For the spring 2024 semester, the ONU men had a 3.47 team GPA, and the ONU women had a 26 GPA. Both programs also earned this recognition for the fall 2023 semester with respective team GPAs of 54 and 15.
In NCAA Division III, Caltech (Calif.) held the highest team GPA of 3.97 among men's teams and 3.93 among the women's teams.
The Polar Bear men closed their 2023-24 season with an 8-4 dual meet record and placed third at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, while the women's team was 6-7 and placed fourth at the OAC Championships under sixth-year head coach Austin Veltman. Both teams .
