Spyker, Cubberley, Clark and Wilt named Academic All-District in Men's Swimming and Diving for 2023-24 by College Sports Communicators

ADA — Senior Charlie Spyker (Harrod/Shawnee), junior Holden Cubberley (Celina) and sophomores Nathan Clark (Cleves/Elder) and Selby Wilt (Findlay) were named Academic All-District in men's swimming and diving by College Sports Communicators.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District Men's Swimming and Diving Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced later this spring.
Spyker is a six-time All-OAC performer who has succeeded as both a swimmer and a diver in his ONU career, scoring 187.5 points in his four Ohio Athlketic Conference Championships meets.
He has earned All-OAC accolades in the 200 medley and 400 medley relay events as well as the 1-meter diving (three times) in his career.
Spyker is also a three-time NCAA III Regional qualifier in the 1-meter diving.
He is a three-time Academic All-OAC honoree nd a two-time Academic All-District award winner.
Cubberley is a three-time Ohio Athletic Conference Diver of the Year who has won the conference championship in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions in each of his three seasons at Ohio Northern.
He is also a two-time NCAA III Championships qualifier in both the 1- and 3-meter diving events.
Cubberley has scored 120 OAC Championships in his career and is a two-time Academic All-District and Academic All-OAC honoree.
Clark is a six-time All-OAC honoree and has scored 147.5 points at the past two OAC Championships meets.
He has earned All-OAC accolades in the 100 breast (twice), 200 free relay (twice), 400 free relay and 400 medley relay in his career.
Wilt is a 7-time All-OAC honoree and has scored 143 OAC Championships points in his career.
He has earned All-OAC accolades in the 50 free, the 100 free (twice), the 200 free relay (twice), the 400 free relay and the 200 medley relay in his career.
The Polar Bears finished 8-4 overall in dual meets this season and placed third at the 2024 OAC Championships.
