Sophomore Selby Wilt named OAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Selby Wilt (Findlay) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 15-21.

This is Wilt's first time receiving the honor.

The recognition comes after winning two events at the home tri-meet with Ohio Wesleyan and Bluffton on Friday and three events at Baldwin Wallace on Saturday.

Wilt won the 50 free in :21.52 and the 100 back in :53.89 at home. At Baldwin Wallace, he won the 50 free in :21.28 and was on both of ONUs winning relays.

Wilt was All-OAC last year for the 200 free relay, 50 free, and 100 free.

The Polar Bears return to action on Jan. 27, at Grove City (Pa.) at 1 pm.
