Men's Swimming and Diving wins 200 free relay, highlights first day of Wabash (Ind.) Invitational

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — The 200 free relay team of sophomore Selby Wilt (Findlay), sophomore Nathan Clark (Cleves/Elder), junior Brady Horgan (New Richmond/McNicholas) and sophomore Isaac Reddy (Maryland Heights, Mo./Pattonville) won the 200 free relay to lead the Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team on the first day of the Wabash (Ind.) Gail Moll Pebworth Invitational on Friday.

Meet Highlights
- Wilt, Clark, Horgan and and Reddy opened the evening session with a victory in the 200 free relay in 1:23.66.
- Wilt also finished third in the 50 free in :20.85 with Clark right behind in fifth in :21.38.
- In the 200 I.M., junior Ben Starling (Mansfield/Lexington) was 20th in 2:05.04.
- Freshman Nathan Herbert (Medina/Highland) was 19th in the 500 free in 4:57.97.
- The 400 medley relay team of senior Charlie Spyker (Harrod/Shawnee), Clark, sophomore Long Huynh (Billings, Mt./West) and Wilt was seventh in 3:35.67.

- The meet consists of 20 events, including 13 individual races, five relays and 2 diving events.
- The meet is the sixth of 11 regular season contests and is the final event of the fall schedule for Ohio Northern.
- Austin Veltman is now 27-14 in his sixth season as head coach of the Polar Bears.

- The Polar Bears will compete in eight events on Saturday. The seven swimming events begin with prelims at 10 am with the finals at 5:30 pm. The Diving competition will be held on campus at Wabash at 1 pm.
