Senior Jeremy Adams named to College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District At-Large Team

ADA — Ohio Northern senior swimmer Jeremy Adams (Ypsilanti, Mich./Ann Arbor Pioneer) was named to the Academic All-District 7 At-Large First Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America for the 2021-22 season.
Adams helped lead the Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team to a perfect 4-0 record in regular-season conference dual meets and a second-place finish at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships this season. He was named OAC Men's Swimmer of the Week five times and had six All-OAC finishes.
Adams was also recently named as one of ONU's 2022 Clyde Lamb Award winners. The highest honor granted by the Ohio Athletic Conference each year, the Clyde Lamb Awards recognize senior student-athletes with at least two years participation in an OAC-sponsored sport, a minimum grade point average of 3.00 and who have demonstrated sportsmanlike conduct in a manner that has brought credit to the student-athlete and his or her institution.
Adams has 16 All-OAC finishes, six NCAA B cut times and a CSCAA All-American accolade in his career and holds school records in the 100 breaststroke, 100 freestyle and 200 free relay.
A three-time Academic All-OAC selection, Adams boasts a 3.91 GPA as a mechanical engineering major with a minor in mathematics.
The Academic All‐District At‐Large Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. First‐team Academic All‐District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All‐America ballot. First‐, second‐ and third‐team Academic All‐America honorees will be announced in mid‐June.
