Senior Jeremy Adams collects fourth OAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week honor of the season

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Jeremy Adams (Ypsilanti, Mich./Ann Arbor Pioneer) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for the week of Jan. 10-16.

This marks the fourth time Adams has earned the accolade this season, giving him five for his career.

The latest honor comes after Adams won four events — three individual and one relay — to lead ONU to a 186-110 home win over Mount Union on Saturday to improve the Polar Bears to 3-1 on the season.

Adams won the 200 free in 1:46.53, the 100 breast in 1:00.56 and the 100 free in :48.33.

He was also part of ONU's 400 free relay team that wrapped up the meet with a victory, finishing in a time of 3:14.64.

The Polar Bears return to action on Friday at 6 p.m. when they host Ohio Wesleyan and Bluffton in a tri-meet.
