Senior Jeremy Adams named OAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Jeremy Adams (Ypsilanti, Mich./Ann Arbor Pioneer) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for the week of Oct. 25-31.

This marks Adams' third career OAC Player of the Week honor after winning it last week for the week of Oct. 18-24 and as a freshman in the 2018-19 season.

Adams won both individual events and two relays he swam in on Saturday in a home dual meet against nationally-ranked No. 17 John Carroll.

Adams won both the 200-yard free and 200-yard breast in 1:46.13 and 2:11.13, respectively.

He also swam in the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard free relay with his team touching the wall first in 1:35.16 and 1:26.48, respectively.

The Polar Bears handed No. 17 John Carroll its first loss of the season, 157-139.

Ohio Northern travels to the Calvin Quad on Friday in Grand Rapids, Mich.
