Men's Swimming & Diving to open 2019-20 schedule Oct. 19 at Kenyon Relays

ADA – The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team will open its 2019-20 season under second-year head coach Austin Veltman at the annual Kenyon Relays on October 19.
The meet will serve as Northern's season opener for the seventh consecutive season will start the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of its schedule the next weekend with a meet at Wilmington on Oct. 25 and a home meet with John Carroll on Oct. 26.
The Polar Bears will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule at Calvin (Mich.) Invitational on Nov. 8-9, a dual meet at Wittenberg on Nov. 15 and a trip to the three-day Wooster Invitational Dec. 5-7.
After Christmas Break, the Polar Bears will begin a busy slate in January with a home tri-meet with Kenyon and Oberlin on Jan. 10 and a home meet with OAC foe Mount Union on Jan. 11.
Northern will wrap up its OAC slate on Jan. 17 at Baldwin Wallace and will end its regular season with a meet at Case Western Reserve on Jan. 25.
Ohio Northern's postseason slate includes a trip to the OAC Conference Championships at the University of Akron's Ocasek Natatorium from Feb. 13-15.
The swimming and diving season will conclude when qualifying individuals and relays compete at the NCAA Division III Championships on March 18-21 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The Polar Bears posted a 4-3 overall record, finished second in the OAC with a 3-1 mark and were second at the OAC Championships last season.
