Sophomore Trevor Keriazes qualifies for NCAA III Men's Swimming & Diving Championships

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Trevor Keriazes qualified for the NCAA III Championships in the 100 breast.
Keriazes is seeded ninth in the event, which will be held March 16-19 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.
Keriazes is seeded ninth in the 100 breast with a school record qualifying time of :55.44. He will swim the event on Friday, March 18.
The top 19 qualifiers in each event received bids into the NCAA Championships.
Once in the meet, each swimmer may compete in more optional events up to a maximum of three.
He will also compete in the 200 I.M. on Wednesday, March 16 and in the 200 breast on Saturday, March 19.
He is seeded 26th in the 200 breast in an OAC and ONU record 2:04.47 and is 36th in the 200 I.M. in 1:52.62.
A total of 527 participants (479 swimmers and 48 divers) will compete in the championships.
The preliminaries will begin each day at 10 am with the finals starting at 6 pm each night.
The top eight placers in each event earn All-America honors and placers 9-16 earn Honorable Mention All-America accolades.
Junior John Raker (200 fly) and ONU's 400 free relay team of junior Eric Chen, senior Mitchell Murphy, freshman Pete He and junior Logan Pfeifer also had NCAA "B" Cut times for the men's squad but did not receive a bid to the Championships.
On the women's side, senior Allison Lohnes and junior Jill Chapman also had NCAA "B" Cut times but were not selected for the Championships.
