John Raker, Trevor Keriazes lead No. 30 Men's Swimming and Diving past Oberlin 179-51

OBERLIN — Junior John Raker and sophomore Trevor Keriazes each won twice to lead the No.30-ranked Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team to a 179-51 victory at Oberlin on Friday night at Carr Pool.
The Polar Bears won 11 of the 13 events and improve to 5-1 overall, while the Yeomen fall to 1-6.
Raker led 1-2-3 finishes by winning the 200 free and the 100 fly in 1:50.30and :55.44, respectively.
Keriazes also led 1-2-3 finishes by the Polar Bears in the meet by winning the 200 I.M. in 2:01.29 and the 100 breast in 1:00.56.
Senior Zach Martin won the 1000 free in 10:27.97 and junior Eric Chen won the 100 free in :48.91.
Sophomore Braden Kuhn won the 1-meter diving with 187.50 points, sophomore Ian Simpson won the 100 back in :56.27 and freshman Pete He won the 500 free in 4:59.49.
ONU also swept the 200 free and 200 medley relays.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday at 1 pm when they host Mount Union in a key Ohio Athletic Conference matchup at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium with the victor clinching at least a share of the OAC Regular Season title.
