No. 37 men's Swimming & Diving finishes third of nine teams at Wooster Invitational

WOOSTER — The No. 37-ranked Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team finished third of nine teams at the three-day Wooster Invitational Thursday-Saturday at the Wooster High School and the College of Wooster's Timken Natatoriums.
The Polar Bears finished with 1,088 points in the 20 events.
No. 25-ranked Case Western Reserve won the meet with 1775.5 points, NCAA Division II No. 42-ranked Gannon (Pa.) was second with 1236.5 points and Westminster (Pa.) was fourth with 1009 points.
Sophomores Trevor Keriazes and Braden Kuhn led Ohio Northern with third place finishes for the second consecutive day.
Keriazes was third in the 200 breast in 2:07.68 and Kuhn was third in the 1-meter diving with 345.95 points.
Juniors Eric Chen and Logan Pfeifer was solid in the 100 free with Chen finishing sixth in :47.39 and Pfeifer finishing eighth in :47.63.
Freshman Anthony Ferrell also posted a top-10 finish in the 200 breast in 2:11.57.
The 400 free relay team of Chen, sophomore Gabe Dauch, senior Mitchell Murphy and Pfeifer touched fourth in 3:06.98.
The Polar Bears will be off for the school's Christrmas break and will return to action Jan. 15 at Oberlin.
