No. 37-ranked Men's Swimming and Diving moves to third of nine teams after day 2 of Wooster Invitational

WOOSTER — The No. 37-ranked Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team is sits in third place out of nine teams after the second day of the three-day Wooster Invitational on Friday at the Wooster High School and the College of Wooster's Timken Natatoriums.
The Polar Bears have 746 points through 13 of the 20 events.
No. 25-ranked Case Western Reserve is first with 1159 points, NCAA Division II No. 42-ranked Gannon (Pa.) is second with 838 points and Westminster (Pa.) is fourth with 709 points.
Sophomores Trevor Keriazes and Braden Kuhn led Ohio Northern with third place finishes.
Keriazes was third in the 100 breast in an NCAA "B" Cut time of :57.22 and Kuhn was third in the 3-meter diving with 339.00 points.
Sophomore Gabe Dauch was fifth in the 100 back in :52.98 and freshman Anthony Ferrell was sixth in the 100 breast in :59.84.
In the first race of the night, Dauch, Keriazes, senior Mitchell Murphy and sophomore Thomas Golba were second in the 200 medley relay in 1:33.65.
The Polar Bear team of freshman Pete He, junior Eric Chen, Dauch and Keriazes were sixth in the 800 free relay in 7:03.89.
The third and final day of the meet will be Saturday with prelims at 10 am and finals at 5 pm and will consist of six swimming events and one diving event.
