Freshman Pete He named OAC Swimmer of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Pete He was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week for the week of Oct. 26 - Nov. 1.

He led the Polar Bears to a 2-0 week, as they defeated Wilmington and John Carroll.

In the meet with Wilmington, the freshman claimed first place finishes in the 200 freestyle in 2:01.3, 100 freestyle in 54.88 and was a member of the 200 freestyle relay claiming first in 1:38.7.

He also posted three first place finishes in the meet with John Carroll, winning the 100 butterfly in 53.76, 200 freestyle in 1:46.4 and was a member of the 400 medley relay that won in 3:34.84.

The Polar Bears return to action Friday ad Saturday as they compete at the Clavin (Mich.) Invitational, competition begins Friday evening at 6 pm.
