Six members of ONU Swimming & Diving team fare well at Great Buckeye Challenge triathlon

ADA — Six members of the Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team fared well in the Great Buckeye Challenge olympic triathlon in Springfield on Sunday.
The triathlon consisted of a 1-mile swim, a 25-mile bike ride, and 6-mile run.
Freshman Gabe Rastatter won the men's 20-24 age group in 2:29:46 and sophomore Duggan Trenary won the men's 15-19 age group in 2:31:16.
Also in the age 20-24 age group, sophomore Ian Simpson finished 2nd in 2:38:24, sophomore Trevor Keriazes finished 4th 2:54:41 and sophomore Gabe Dauch finished 5th in t3:12:01.
Sophomore Conor Cassera finished 2nd in the men's 15-19 age group in 2:48:10.
The Polar Bears will open their 2015-16 season on Oct. 17 at the Kenyon Relays and the Denison Diving Meet under 12th-year head coach Peggy Ewald.
