Men's, Women's Swimming & Diving teams to open 2015-16 seasons on Oct. 17

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's and women's swimming and diving teams will open their 2015-16 seasons on Oct. 17 under 12th-year head coach Peggy Ewald.

The Polar Bear swimmers will compete at the Kenyon Relays and the Divers will compete at the Denison Diving meet that Saturday.

Northern will begin the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of its season on Oct. 30 at Wilmington.

ONU will host three home meets during the season, Oct. 31 with John Carroll, Jan. 16 with Mount Union and Jan. 23 with Case Western Reserve.

The 2016 OAC Championships is slated for Feb. 18-20 at the University of Akron's Ocasek Natatorium.

The NCAA Division III Championships are slated for March 16-19 in Greensboro, N.C.

The Polar Bear men won their 11th consecutive OAC Championships title and the ONu women finished second at the OAC Championships meet in 2014-15.
