Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams add three to coaching staff for 2013-14

ADA — Ohio Northern head men's and women's swimming and diving coach Peggy Ewald announced three additions to her coaching staff for the 2013-14 season.

Former assistant coaches Russell Hunt and Jess Ewald and recent Springfield (Mass.) graduate Ken Pancoast are the new members of the coaching staff.

Hunt will serve as assistant coach, Pancoast will be the diving coach and Jess Ewald will serve as the program's recruiting coordinator.

Hunt returns for his second stint as an assistant men's and women's swimming & diving coach.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Hunt joins the ONU staff again after serving as a graduate assistant from 2005-2008.

Pancoast is was an All-American and a three-time NCAA qualifier at Springfield.

A native of Monroe, Conn., Pancoast graduated this spring with a bachelor's degree in physical education.

Ewald is in her second stint on the coaching staff at her alma mater, recently serving as an assistant coach in 2010-11.

Ewald graduated with honors from Ohio Northern University in 2007 earning her BA in Sports Management and more recently in May 2013 from Akron with a Master of Science in Education. 

Ewald was an NCAA qualifier each year of her swimming career at ONU.
