Men's, Women's Swimming & Diving teams to open 2013-14 season Oct. 19 at Kenyon Relays

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's and women's swimming & diving teams will open their 2013-14 seasons on Oct. 19 at the Kenyon Relays under 10th-year head coach Peggy Ewald.

The Polar Bear men will be gunning for their 10th consecutive Ohio Athletic Conference title, while the ONU women will be looking for their sixth straight crown.

Northern will open its home schedule on Oct. 26 with an OAC dual with John Carroll at the ONU Sports Center.

The squads will also host Findlay on Dec. 13, Mount Union on Jan. 24 and Case Western Reserve on Jan. 25.

The Polar Bears will compete at the three-day Wooster Invitational Dec. 5-7 and the two-day Calvin (Mich.) Invitational Jan. 10-11.

Ewald will take her teams on their annual training trip Jan. 1-10 to Phoenix, Ariz.

The OAC Championships are slated for Feb. 13-15 in Akron and the NCAA III Championships will be March 19-22 in Indianapolis.
