Senior All-American Michael Schultz named OAC men's Swimmer of the Week

ADA — Senior Michael Schultz has been named OAC men's swimmer of the week for the sixth time in his career.

This past weekend, Schultz swept the distance events, winning the 1,000 yard free in 10:00.74 and the 500 fly in 4:49.12.

His two victories paced the Polar Bears to a 145-92 victory over Olivet (Mich.).

Schultz was named OAC player of the week three times during his freshman season and one time each during his sophomore and junior year.

Ohio Northern, having a perfect 4-0 record on the season, will be in action again on Friday when they travel to Wittenberg for a 6 p.m. meet.
