Men's Swimming & Diving posts 171.5-71.5 win at Wittenberg to move to 5-0 overall

SPRINGFIELD — The Ohio Northern Men's swimming and diving team remained undefeated on the season following a 171.5-71.5 win over Wittenberg on Friday night at the HPER Center Natatorium.
The Polar Bears moved to 5-0 on the season, while Wittenberg falls to 4-2.
The Polar Bears won every swimming event to seal the victory, with senior Michael Schultz and junior Drew Keriazes leading the way for Ohio Northern.
Schultz won the 200 Free and the 500 Free in 1:46.60 and 4:50.24, respectively.
Keriazes was involved in three first places finishes, the 100 Breast (1:00.76), the 200 Medley and the 200 Free Relay.
The 200 Medley Relay team consisting of Keriazes, juniors Max McClary and Marc Anderson, and sophomore Christian Garlock took first with a time of 1:40.07.
The 200 Free Relay team consisting of Keriazes, Garlock, Anderson and senior Anders Samuelson won with a time of 1:30.75.
The Polar Bears will compete again at Wooster Invitational, which starts on Dec. 1 and wraps up Dec. 3. Preliminary events begin at 11 a.m. followed by finals at 6 p.m.
