All-American Michael Schultz wins twice as No. 16 Men's Swimming & Diving tops Division II Shippensburg (Pa.) 152-115
FORT MYERS, Fla. — Senior All-American Michael Schultz won the 100 and 200 freestyle events to lead the No. 16 Ohio Northern men's swimming & diving team past NCAA Division II Shippensburg (Pa.) on Sunday during ONU's Winter Training trip.
The Polar Bears stay undefeated on the season at 7-0, while the Raiders fall to 1-5.
Ohio Northern won nine of the 15 events, including seven of the 10 individual events.
Schultz won the 100 free in :48.92 and won the 200 free in 1:46.8.
Juniors Andrew Keriazes and Max McClary won the 50 breast and the 50 back, respectively.
Keriazes won the 50 breast in :28.36 and McClary took the 50 back in :26.6.
Sophomore Jordan Breitigam won the 100 fly in :53.20, freshman Spencer Franzoi won the 200 IM in 2:10.8 and freshman Brian Heilbronner won the 100 back in :55.7.
Ohio Northern also won the 200 fly relay in 1:40.5 and the 200 free relay in 1:31.5.
The Polar Bears will return to action Friday with a dual meet at Oberlin.
