MARIETTA — Juniors Ryan Parker (Lexington) and Kellan Minch (Beavercreek) each scored two goals to lead the Ohio Northern men's soccer team to a 6-1 victory at Marietta in the regular season finale at the Marietta Soccer Field on Saturday night.

  • Marietta ruined the shutout with a goal at the 81:47 mark.
  • Junior Lucas Hickey (Conroe, Tex./Oak Ridge) played 84 minutes in goal for ONU.
  • The Polar Bears out-shot the Pioneers 21-7 and finished with an 8-1 edge in corner kicks.

Notables

  • Ohio Northern finished the regular season in second place in the OAC Standings and will be the No. 2 seed in next week's 6-team OAC Tournament.
