COLUMBUS — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team edged Capital 3-2 on the road on Saturday afternoon to remain unbeaten in Ohio Athletic Conference play.

The Match
- The Comets scored the lone goal of the first half, as Zade Awad found the back of the net in the sixth minute.
- After tying the score on a Capital own goal in the 58th minute, the Polar Bears took a 2-1 edge with a goal from junior Gavin Marshall (Troy) off of a free kick in the 67th minute.
- The Comets answered to tie the score at 2-2 with a goal from Jack Francisco in the 71st minute.
- Junior Ryan Sommerfeld (Dublin/Coffman) scored what proved to be the game-winning goal on assists from junior Will Shaffer (Galena/St. Francis DeSales) and Marshall in the 81st minute.
